The Author

Kim Malcolm, a native Californian, has been traveling the world since 2014 following a career in public policy as administrative law judge and in several executive positions. A Country Within is her first book. She has written travel essays for several online sites and her first novel will be published in 2018. Kim is the the granddaughter of an Armenian refugee, the mom of Gabe and one of three moms of an adopted family of young Afghans, Syrians and Iraqis.
